Growing up, it always seemed simple. Play hard, get scouted, then, before you know it, the talented bunch of elite-level hockey players are signing the dotted line of an entry-level contract.
For a while, the finer details of that dream may have seemed irrelevant, and, for a moment, some players knew all they needed to know. But when does that moment end, and, instead, they’re faced with a pivotal moment full of questions on what they should do and how they should do it?
In less than two weeks time, we at ALP Training institute will be hosting our inaugural "A Night with the Pros", an evening where Hamilton-area hockey players can ask modern-day NHLers career-influencing questions and listen to invaluable lessons and stories!
Headlining our list of speakers is Hamilton’s own Zac Rinaldo! Entering his seventh season in the NHL and his second with the Arizona Coyotes, Zac has been a recognized force at the pro level for years. Also, in his second year of training at ALP with Coach Barry, Zac continues to be a dedicated mentor to members of our ALP Hockey program where so many athletes dream to one day be where he is.
The topics for discussion are limitless! From hearing about a player’s professional lifestyle to their draft year, or from their injury comeback to biggest career moments!
As the night approaches we’ll continue to announce more pros that will be joining us at ALP for a night we hope athletes and their families never forget!
WHEN: May 31st @ 7:30
