FAQ — ALP Evaluations & Assessments
1. Which evaluation should I start with?
It depends on what you're looking for. If you want to know how to reduce daily body pain, you might want to start with our Functional Movement Evaluation.
If you want a complete and detailed overview of your health and performance, start with the Comprehensive Health & Performance Evaluation with Adam Lloyd. It includes key elements of all other tests (body composition, movement, and nutrition) and gives you a clear roadmap forward.
2. How long does each evaluation take?
Most assessments range from 20–60 minutes, depending on the service:
-
InBody Scan: ~10 minutes
-
Functional Movement Evaluation: 60 minutes
-
Nutrition Evaluation: 45–60 minutes
-
Comprehensive Evaluation with Adam Lloyd: 90 minutes
* We’ll confirm exact timing when you book.
3. Do I need to prepare beforehand?
A little preparation helps you get the most accurate results:
-
InBody Scan: avoid eating or exercising 3-4 hours before, wear lightweight clothing
-
Movement Testing: wear comfortable clothing, be well hydrated
-
Nutrition Evaluation: bring a 3-day food recall (or notes)
-
Comprehensive Evaluation: come hydrated and ready to discuss your training, recovery, and goals.
4. Will I receive my results right away?
Most of the time, yes you’ll receive immediate results for your InBody and movement tests, plus a verbal review with your coach.
If you’re completing a comprehensive evaluation, you’ll get a full report and roadmap within 48 hours, summarizing findings and next steps.
5. Are evaluations only for athletes?
No, not at all.
While many of our clients are athletes, our evaluations are ideal for anyone looking to improve health, strength, energy, and longevity. Executives, parents, and active adults use these assessments to take control of their health with clear, actionable data.
6. How often should I repeat my evaluation?
For best results, we recommend retesting every 8–12 weeks.
That allows you to track real progress, adjust your plan, and ensure your training, nutrition, and recovery strategies are working.
