Having only settled in our Stoney Creek home one year ago, it feels surreal to announce that we have received 17 nominations for the Hamilton Spectator's 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards.
As of 7 a.m. today, you, the voter, are able to search through the list of nominees and distinguished industry leaders. By the time voting closes on September 26, we here at ALP-TI hope our amazing family, friends, and clients will show the rest of the community that we are setting a standard in health and fitness.
For us, this standard is unparalleled private, semi-private, and group training, a state-of-the-art facility, and a very welcoming, supportive environment that encourages an active lifestyle and improving performance.
Leading this standard is ALP-TI owner and CEO Adam Lloyd. Adam’s 4 individual nominations - Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Life Coach, and Kinesiologist - are evidence of his dedication to helping others reach their true potential.
Alongside Adam, coaches Barry Vincent and Spencer Barlow have also been nominated for awards under Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. Barry, who leads ALP’s Strong Girls program, and Spencer, who runs the recently revamped Obstacle Course Racing program, both strive to go above and beyond for their groups, clients, and community.
Rounding out the gym’s six individual nominations for personal training are coaches Ryan French, Tori Woodfine, and former coach Evan MacDonald. Bringing diverse backgrounds to ALP’s pallet of clients, Ryan, Tori, and Evan excel in helping anyone from professional athletes to everyday gym-goers achieve their health and fitness goals.
And together, ALP-TI’s team has received even more recognition with six nominations for the business itself. These nominations - New Business, Fitness Club Co-Ed, Overall Customer Service, Bootcamp, Life Coaching, and Weight Control Services - are incredibly gratifying as it reaffirms our ongoing endeavour to be a community leader in these areas.
We truly could not have earned this kind of recognition without the support of our #ALPfamily and for that, all of us at ALP-TI want to say, “Thank You.”
